This unit covered conditionals and direct speech versus reported speech. There are four kinds of conditionals, although they can be mixed in a variety of ways. Reported speech is a bit more straightforward, usually closely following its direct speech counterpart. Since there are so many possible ways to form sentences around these concepts, they have the potential for many different kinds of errors.
