This unit was interesting for me and helped to expand my knowledge of English pronunciation and phonology. While studying for this unit and learning more about intonation, word stress and the phonemic alphabet and script, I have learnt a lot of new information and teaching ideas for the classroom. I was interested to learn pronunciation is regarded as the most neglected aspect of English teaching, I plan to include pronunciation as often as possible when I am teaching, as students will respond positively to this. I have enjoyed learning more about the phonemic alphabet and script, as I have not had much exposure to these in the past.
