This unit covered conditionals and reported speech. I found the rules around conditionals interesting and important to learn because I now realise the differences in conditionals more clearly now. This is helpful because some students native languages may have different rules for conditional speech and it is important I understand this and can teach them about any differences. I also thought the rules for reported speech were important to study, for example when changing words in regards to time expressions. Overall I gained a lot from this unit and I am confident I can teach these aspects of speech to an English class.
