This has been an interesting section of the course, as it allowed me to put a name to the various techniques I have been using (I primarily have been using a mix of Presentation, Practice, Production and Communicative Language Teaching). The many suggested activities are interesting and it would be fun to try to incorporate some of ones I hadn't considered before into my lessons, both to challenge myself to keep my students engaged. I feel I had already been familiar with the issues surrounding correction. I agree that practices like "you shouldn't interrupt students during the 'Activate' part of the lesson to correct," and "take note of common errors during the 'Engage' part of the lesson to review during the 'Study' part" are very important. With the right hands-on practice, I am hoping to be able to improve the sensitivity of my corrections in the near future!
