This unit helped me to understand how to manage my classes. It covered how to arrange students seating arrangements such as orderly rows,circles, horseshoes, seprate tables and more importantly where the teachers position should be at all times. The unit covers Teaching Talk Time and Student Talk Time and what is approriate for each tasks, it is always important to factor in less TTT and more STT. The use of eye contact, gestures, voice of the teacher and it even explains how to use student's name effectively( not at the start but at the end of a question). It covers difficult topics on how to build rapport with students and how to discipline students, respect for the teacher is essential for both of these.
