Unit 2 is called parts of speech, it is an introduction to grammer. Parts of speech means each word in a sentence can be further classified, according to its purpose and the meaning it adds.
The unit covers many things: Nouns, Adjectives, Articles, Verbs, Adverbs, Gerunds, Pronouns and Prepositions/Conjunctions.
Having completed the unit I am aware of how to identify the parts of speech in sentences.
The topic helps explain the differences between countable nouns and uncountable nouns, comparatives adjectives and superlatives adjectives, definite article and indefinite article, transitive verbs and intransitive verbs, personal pronouns and possesive pronouns, prepositions and conjuctions.
It is also interesting to know the form of verbs, what auxilary verbs are and what the 5 main types of adverbs actual are.
