In this lesson, I've learned skills of teaching different groups of people. First, teaching beginners, we need to be patient, be as visual as possible, offer clear and simple instructions and do not over-correct students. Second, teaching individual students, we need to be well prepared, find out student's specific language problems and combine what student wants and what we think he /she needs. We also need to consider students workload, make the class interesting and effective. Third, teaching children, we need to consider the class discipline, make the class fun so that students won't get bored. Also bear in mind, don't be inconsistent, be fair to all students. At last, teaching business English, we need find out what our clients need, this can be done by doing a "need analysis". Then planning the program. There are also other factors affect the effectiveness of the class we need to bear in mind.
