I have very limited experience with the historical study of theories, methods, and techniques of teaching. Everything in this unity felt very new, though many of the methods of teaching I experienced growing up. I was interesting to learn the specific names of teaching methods and the history of who, how, and why they were developed. (The supplemental video helped with this.)
I really like the openness and adaptability of the ESA method. It seems simple enough to grasp, but challenging to master and make every lesson a unique experience for learners.
