From this unit, I have learned what is a good teacher and a good learner, and the teachers’ various roles in the class. About the learners, different types are mentioned, and also the difference between different learners. And it also includes the breakdown of the English learners and at the same time stated the six stages of the common European Framework, and of course the possible motivation of English learners.
And what I totally agree is about the difference between different learners, especially the adults. Teachers should always notice that the students are perhaps successful people with a lot experience. We are not above those experience. We are advising, offering and encouraging, not judging, criticizing or anything similar. And with the established rapport, the students will be motivated and even we are the ones who are learning things from them.
