I have learned how to identify parts of the speech and the rules that apply to use them. I learned about Noun usage, types, and its plural forms. Nouns can be countable and uncountable. Adjectives describe the noun and its comparative forms compare two items or people while its superlative forms compare more than two items or people. Articles have two types: definite such as 'The' and indefinite such as 'A and An'. I have learned about Verbs are doing words. The unit covered Transitive verbs, intransitive verbs, infinitives, Verb forms, and auxiliary verbs usage rules. Adverbs add meaning to the action, quality or state denoted by a verb. A gerund is a verb turned to a noun by adding -ing. Adverbs can also modify an adjective or another adverb. The Unit also went over Pronoun types: Personal, Possessive, Reflexive, and Relative. Each pronoun type reviewed by the unit provided examples and its use. I also learned about Preposition and Conjunction at the last section of the unit. Preposition show the relationship between a noun or a pronoun and other words in the sentence. The main types of preposition are Time/date, movement, and place/position. Conjunction joins words or group of words in the sentence. Conjunction can join words of the same class or Join clauses pf sentences.
