Unit two is all about grammar and it covers nouns, pronouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, and prepositions. It makes note of the difficulties of grammar for English learners from many different nationalities as well as the difficulty it presents for teachers of English. The unit breaks grammar down and gives many examples of each.
I have learned how difficult it will be to communicate the intricacies of grammar to learners of English from other nationalities that don’t speak English as a first language. It gave me the heads up that I will need to find clever and fun ways to teach such a complicated unit.
