In this Unit teaching special groups is covered. There are 5 major categories of special groups, namely; teaching beginners, teaching individual students, teaching young learners, teaching business English, and monolingual versus multilingual. In the teaching beginners category, beginners can be broken down into the following categories; the absolute beginner, the false beginner, the adult beginner, the young beginner, and beginners without the Roman alphabet. For each of the 5 major categories mentioned, dos and don'ts, and, positive and negatives is discussed.
