After this unit, the teaching skills related to listening and reading are presented all. Some of them are pretty theoretical, and the other part is quite practical, such as the activate games which are applied into my class very well. The example of the lesson plan could be quite useful too. And what I am interested in is the how to select the texts for students. This lesson has given some advice and points upon it, but still it is vague. What the percentage of the new words should be when it’s the best for the students to get a balance between being interested and having things to learn? I would like to have a specific number to measure the difficulty to read.
