Unit 2 is about the parts of speech. They are: noun, verb, adverb, adjective, conjunctions, etc. About noun we can say that it has singular and plural forms, when it ends with -ch, -sh, -x, -s it takes the ending -es while making it plural. There are different types of nouns, such as common, proper, abstract, compound and collective.
Adjectives are parts of speech that show the type of the subject. It has three degrees: positive, comparative and superlative. When the adjective consists of 1 syllable it takes the ending -er for comparative and the ending -est for superlative degrees. For 2 or more syllables it is more and the most before the adjective.
Verbs can be transitive and intransitive. Transitive verbs take object.
