In this chapter I learned about conditional statements and direct and reported speech. I learned that depending on the tense and what was asked the response will be in a specific tense. The change of tense can completely change the meaning of a sentence so this is important to learn correctly. The way direct speech is reported depends on when and what was said as well. This is certainly something that should be taught slowly as it can be confusing for students.
