The equipment and teaching aids lesson was really helpful. It gives ideas for all of the resources that a teacher can use to facilitate learning, given the teacher is fortunate enough to teach in a place that can afford to have these devices. From using a white board effectively by writing clearly and involving students in the writing process, to using an OHP so that there is less time spent with your back to your students, there are tips that make it easier to understand how to use your resources to the best of your ability so that your students learn English effectively. It is important to understand when to use all of the resources listed in this chapter, and to use them when it is necessary and when it fits into the lesson. These should not be overused, or used to fill time when there seems to be a gap in the lesson. All lessons should be planned, and the resources should fit into the plan.
