The usage and patterns common to speaking or writing in the present tense were laid out, and students were given examples of how best to recognize and differentiate different forms of the present tense in English, such as Present Simple vs Present Continuous. I've also been shown examples of where students learning English might have trouble differentiating or adapting the use of the present tense, and been given potential activities to employ in teaching it.
