If I was a student in one of these videos. I hope I am in the 2nd lesson. The three reasons why I want to be in the 2nd lesson are: good rapport due to the teacher's attitude, he takes his time to teach his students, and he does not give up on his students. When teacher (Simon) starts his class, he introduced himself with his name and let all of the students introduce themselves. I feel like this action was a starting point of building rapport between the students and teacher.
The Next reason why I pick the second lesson was the teacher was not in a hurry. He took his time of teaching the class. For instance, in the first lesson, the teacher assigned the study assignment for like 2 to 3 minutes. I was shocked about that. These students need more time on their English worksheet because are Non Native learners of the English language.
The last reason why I picked the second lesson was: the teacher did not give up on them. In the first video, at the activate stage; the teacher actually gave up on the students.
