This unit has helped me to understand the important information that needs to be included in a lesson plan for a class. The order of a lesson is important to ensure that students are learning in a way that helps them remember the learning objectives and stay focussed on the class. It is important to plan for lessons for many reasons, one of them being so that teachers can keep track of what is being taught during the year. It’s also useful to keep the flow of the class on track. Planning is important especially for new teachers so that other teachers can take over the class if needed.
