In this unit “Teaching special groups” we have looked at the specialized groups. Firstly we have analyzed how to teach beginners: 1. The absolute beginner 2. The false beginner 3. The adult beginner 4. The young beginner 5. The beginner without Roman alphabet. Each group has its own characteristics. Teachers need to plan their lessons and bear in mind all possible problems depending on the group. For example, how can they help weaker students? What if students cannot understand the tape? If there is the adult beginner group you can use one way to solve the problem , if there is the the young beginner, another one. But the teacher has to motivate their student all the time. Currently there is a large increase in demand for the individual lessons, particularly in the business world. These lessons have a lot of advantages. Another important group is the children learners. The teacher has to present all the topics slower and clearly with the exaggerating intonation. 90 percent of business English is general English. Teachers haven’t to teach the student about business. That information should perceive all the teachers.
