The two main topics of Unit 16 are conditionals and reported speech. There are five types of conditional forms: Zero Conditional, First Conditional, Second Conditional, Third Conditional and Mixed Conditional. They differ based on the time that speaker is talking about. Reported speech presupposes certain rules when it is transferred from the direct speech. These rules concern the change of tense, form of pronouns and time expressions.
