In this unit we looked at different ways of evaluating students' levels and progress , as well as some of the common external exams that needs to be prepared.
They mentioned about :
1) Tutorial : reviewing the main point at the end of the lesson, usually with the whole group.
2) Evaluation : students discuss about whether they think they learnt enough grammar or if there are balance in different skills.
3) Test : often given at different stages in a course ; they group students of the same level ; or determine what they do and dont know ; for further level grouping?
