unit 18 looks at modal auxilary verbs, phrasal verbs, pássive voice and relative clauses. It examines the usage of modals and how to identify them in a sentence. We also reviewed how we form the passive voice and how to change a sentence from an active voice to passive. There are 3 types of phrasal verbs- intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. It is important for the teacher to keep track of phrasal verbs already taught and to continue to use naturally during practice communication classroom activities so the students are able to listen to various contexts. Choosing a particular subject would also be benifical to make process of learning phrasal verbs easier. Lastly we looked at differences between defining and non defining relative clauses.
