In this unit I learned different kinds of English tests and their characteristics. From my point of view, it is very important to assess our language skills continuously. However, these tests have different functions and are taken for a lot of purposes.
At school, teachers can also use a variety of ways to assess their students. These assessments will help us at the moment of taking crucial decisions, for example, reviewing a particular language point after checking a progress test or setting clear objectives and activities after assessing our students with a diagnostic test.
