I learned that teaching conditionals and reported speech is tricky. I understand the concept behind it and I agree that presenting this information must be done slowly and carefully. The teaching ideas this course offers are great examples to help the students understand: split sentences, complete the conditionals, what if and role-play. Additional time might need to be built into the lesson plan as well.
