Unit 20 deals with some common problems English language teachers face in the classroom. A vital fist step for the language teacher is developing rapport with the class. This lesson identifies activities that center around getting students to share about themselves and each other. The lesson then looks at five other common problems ranging from different language levels of students, to class sizes, to use of native language, reluctant students, and student with difficulties with listening to texts. The unit provides a brief description of the problem and has suggestions to aid in overcoming the particular issue.
