The use of course books and lesson materials is very important in the classroom. However, as teachers we must be very careful in the way they are implemented when teaching. From my point of view this unit is very helpful since it gives good advices for teachers.
The materials used in class must be checked beforehand in case some contents need to be adapted. Moreover, sometimes we need to omit activities which are not suitable for the students' level of english and skills.
In conclusion whether the material is authentic or not, as teachers we must not depend on them since that could cause dependence and therefore produce predictable and boring classes.
