The equipment I use most often is a whiteboard. My handwriting is not perfect and I am not good at drawing so I have to plan in advance and think carefully how I want to use it. Worksheets are also useful because you can usually find good already made materials or easily create your own to suit classroom needs. Smartboards (as they are called where I live) are also effective but the technology is not always reliable. Access to internet in the classroom opens up nearly endless possibilities to find useful resources for activities. Audio recordings, such as CDs, are good for listening practice and testing. Whatever equipment or materials a teacher uses should be well thought out and used in service of helping the students learn. The many resources provided in this unit should prove useful in the future.
