In this lesson we learn the techniques to teach pronunciation and phonology. For native English speaker teachers, this is definitely not a easy topic to teach, because they speak the language naturally as they grow up. In contrary, some parts of the phonology are easy for teachers to teach, who do not speak English as their mother tongue, I am among this group of English teachers. As a native Chinese, who got the first English training in China, we learnt the phonetics systematically in school, as the English pronunciation is very different from the Chinese, we spent a lot time and effort to learn it. That's why I believe in it importance for students to speak authentically English.
