The ability to effectively utilize the materials given to teachers to aid in their teaching is critical to make the best of the lessons. At the very least least, most classrooms should have a board for writing at the front of the classroom. It's important that the writing on the chalkboard be legible and easy to understand. If your school district is lucky, it may have access to higher tech supplies like interactive smart boards, but those also come with limitations (especially when it comes to training teachers to use them and poor placement). Because technology is susceptible to fail, it's always necessary to practice the tech before the lesson and also to come with a back up. Other materials include visual aids, overhead projectors, worksheets, audio players, and video recorders.
