After finishing this unit, i can understand now why pronunciation and phonology is the least favoured teaching subject in tefl. As a native speaker, without the descriptions and tricks in this unit i would have trouble describing how to form words from the spellings. The Phonemic chart, i had seen in the past but had not realised how important and useful it is for teaching. With what i have learnt in this unit i hope it will give me the skills to successfully teach pronunciation and phonology in the future.
