Unit 17 looks at serveral different resources and teaching aids a teacher can use to produce more effective and interesting lesson. It reviews different materials and techniques that are avialable in most schools and explains how to use them to improve your lesson. It also gives you a list of useful online resources to refer to. This unit described the various teaching aids and when to use them depending on the subject you are teaching. It is important to be familiar with the equiptment, test the lesson plan before hand aswell as having a back up plan. We also looked at basic principle of board work to ensure effectivity and an engaging lesson. As a teacher i would make use of multiple resources in each lesson. The variety of teaching aids discussed in this lesson can be benificial as a reference for lesson planning.
