the unit had very basic information about qualities of good teacher and learner, as well as different roles i.e. prompter, assessor, model, organizer, manager and facilitator that a teacher should possess depending upon the task or activity and time. the unit also shed light on different levels of learners according to their age, life experience, motivation, cultural background and their previous learning. there are six levels of language learners ranging from beginners to advance. overall the introductory unit was very helpful about understanding the role of teachers and learners in the process of language acquisition
