This unit restates the concept from previous lessons that there are two basic types of skills involved in learning a language. The first is receptive skills. The second is productive skills. This unit focuses on the productive skills: speaking and writing. The unit applies the ESA techniques to speaking and writing and gives examples of games and activities that can be used for teaching these productive skills.
