The Unit teaches that there should be good qualities to a teacher such as being attentive to students and being kind and patient with them, but also not spoon-feeding them but allowing them to make mistakes and not just correcting them but explaining to them what they did wrong and the correct way to do it. There are different roles to a teacher that the teacher should be able to act out and be able to switch through when teaching a lesson. There are different levels of learning and different levels of student learners. Each level can tell you where the student is at in his/her learning and know how to appropriately teach and work with each individual student. But teachers should also keep in mind the age group of the learner because different methods of teaching with different age groups will need to be used.
