This unit presents a very important topic that should be taken into consideration by every teacher, no matter what subject they are teaching. Evaluating our students constantly is to me one of the most relevant points discussed, since the teaching of a foreign language is a slow process, with this tool we get to know how good our students acquired the contents and skills, we figure out what are the students weaknesses and at the same time students have the chance to review the contents and consolidate their knowledge. In my very personal experience as a student, I was normally evaluated through written tests, some of them were short evaluations followed by a major test to finish the unit. This presents, to me, a too monotonous way of evaluating, although it nay be useful, overusing it is something that may get students bored and not motivated. This is why I consider evaluating students constantly is highly effective.
