I learned about phrasal verbs and the different types of them. There are three different types of phrasal verbs: intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. The difference between them is where the phrasal verbs are placed with regards to the sentence and the structure of that sentence. I also learned the different ways to use modal verbs and although their meanings are similar, it is what is understood from the sentence that distinguishes one modal verb from the other.
