This unit is about methodologies; methods on how to teach, mostly. There are a lot of factors to consider when teaching a non-native English speaker, such as: grammar translation - from their 1st language to English; difficulties may arise if both languages isn't similar, your student's culture, your student's level of understanding, your student's age, etc. The main and most effective method is ESA (Engage, Study, Activate). Although it is proven effective, the negative part of this is that it can be predictable; to sum it all up, the unit consists of do's and don'ts in terms of teaching.
