There were two videos containing demonstration classes. The first video is mostly focused on the teacher, I have observed that he is not organized with his materials, he uses phone while teaching, he is rude and does make the students feel uncomfortable and intimidated, he didn't give clear instructions about the group activity. he didn't try to encourage students when they answer his questions incorrectly, he just said "no." and this might affect teacher-student relationship as this may affect student's self-esteem. Also, by the end of the class, he didn't even greet the student goodbye properly. Moving forward, the second video has the classic ESA pattern. At the beginning of the class, he introduced himself and asked for the students' names and this made the students feel at ease and comfortable. He then considered all of the student's answers, kept smiling, did hand gestures such as thumbs up, and telling them "well done". I think the ideal kind of teaching is on the second video as the class went smooth, he built students' self confidence, and teacher-student relationship is in good harmony.
