This unit we covered the future tenses. Talking or expressing ideas in the future tense is very difficult. When I first thought about future tense I was thinking things like : The sun will set later . or I am eating that for breakfast tomorrow. However it is far more complicated . For example :the future perfect continuous -with a structure like " She will have been sailing for two months before she reaches Spain. shows us how long something will have continued by a certain time.Special note to the use of "by" which helps us see "by"a certain time.We also covered the use of shall and shall not.we also covered the use of the Present continuous for definite arrangements .Finally we also covered teaching ideas involving group activities utilizing the differences in the future tenses.
