Unit 17 is about teaching equipment. This unit covers 15 different resources teachers can you use the classrooms. In my current classroom I operate a whiteboard and a computer. However, in the past I’ve operated an IWB and an overhead projector. The IWB is the best tool I’ve been able to use. It combines many tools a normal whiteboard and computer would use and puts it into one single thing. It does take some time getting used to the features and can cause a lot of stress when it breaks down. Additionally, students love using the device and it creates a motivation for students to complete and answer questions because they might get a chance to use it.
