In Unit 18 I learned about Modals, Phrasal verbs and passive voice
Basic Rules - Modals are: can, could, may , might , shall, should, must, have to, got to, need to. These are used before other verbs adding meaning to the verb. Obligation, possibility, permission, ability, advice
Also can express formality and are followed by a verb in its base form.
*Passive Voice - Two voices used in English - Active and Passive: In passive, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. In the passive voice, the agent is much less important. For both active and passive, the tense of the sentence always remains the same. The passive is most frequently used when it is not known, not important, or we don't want to say, exactly who performs the action.
Relative Clauses - Independent clauses, Dependent and Relative
Phrasal verbs - Consist of a verb plus one or two particles
