In this Unit I have learned that a successful teacher is a melting pot of behaviors. She should be charismatic,enthusiastic and motivated while incorporating sensitivity and attention to detail (such as cultural and social cues).Additionally, her priority should be putting her students needs first and foremost. That being said she should encourage her students to be "good learners". Good learners are motivated,engaged,and are willing to experiment with the language being taught. Additionally,they are willing to accept correction,ask relevant questions and participate! It is also important for the teacher to understand the level her student is at,as this is crucial for keeping the students engaged and challenged without inappropriate expectations creating discouragement.
