In this chapter, descriptions of the type of materials that can be used in the EFL classroom are given. Plus, advantages and disadvantages of each are described. Another aspect of the unit is an method that teachers can use in evaluating the possible course materials. Finally, some examples of lesson materials are provided. While the reading material was certainly helpful, most beneficial to this student is that lesson creation task at the end of the unit which requires the student to find authentic materials to use in an actual classroom. This helped connect previous units and the current unit and provided practical training for future teaching.
