In this leasing I learned the following:
In reviewing the two videos I learned video 1 was ineffective way to teach a class. The teacher failed to introduce himself and appeared to be very unprepared. He jumped into the lesson with no explanation and no structure. The teacher's attitude was somewhat condesending and did not cultivate participation. In Engage activities there was little explanation which left students confused and embarrassed to participate. Very little time was allowed during the study phase. Lesson was vague and taught too quickly.
Teacher left class without closing or saying good bye. He was not good at building rapport with students.
In video two the teacher introduced himself and gave a decent explanation as to the objective. He was good at encouraging students to participate. He also asked questions where students would fill in the answer verbally. Lesson was well structured and implemented. Explained activities thoroughly.
