In this unit we study the equipment and teaching aids most used in teaching English.In task 4 of the unit exercises we are asked to name 5 pieces of equipment and aids that we would choose to teach and why we choose these. My five teaching tools are: 1)the computer which as the unit explains and we all know is indispensable to teaching as it now encompasses real-time information through the internet and audio and visual material effectively replacing quite a few other pieces of equipment; the dictionary with the meaning, pronunciation and in context explanation of the word; the coursebook something to guide teacher and pupils along; the resourcebook for specific grammar points and exercises and last but not least the photocopier whithout we teacher would be very much handicapped not being able to hand out lesson material, exercises and more....
