Unit number 1 was full of information about the teacher, students and thier roles in the learning English. It cover all the teacher's tasks in the classroom like, what it means to be a manager,organizer, assessor and more.
You'll get an understanding of what it means to be a good teacher, kind, patient and haveing a good knowledge. Building a equal report with the students is important.
It mentions how to recognize a good learner, they are willing to listen, excited to experiment with the language and can accept correction of errors.
Different ages of the students brings different challenges and qualities.
Language levels with explanations was also stated. Lastly it also gives you an idea of what's motivating the students.
A favorite note was "good teachers have good students" because I believe it's very true!
