This unit is on auxiliary verbs and clauses. Modal auxiliary verbs show pun intended of what "might" happen. These are the classic choices between "May I" and "Can I" the former concerns permission, the latter concerns ability. However, even native English speakers do not always have impeccable grammar and frequently mix up these two particular choices. While the unit says that this is the last grammar lesson we have and it is very basic for the course, I am amazed how well the lessons have taken me deeper into grammar than I remember doing in quite a long while.
