I learnt about authentic materials and created materials. I was taught about the differences between them and when either type is useful in a classroom situation. I learnt about course books and lesson materials. What typically comes with a course book, the advantages, and disadvantages of using a course book whilst teaching English. I also learnt 4 different options for coursebook use. Finally, I learnt how to analyze a course book for suitability.
