This lesson refreshed my memory on the different present tenses. This is material I remember learning in school, but I needed a refresher to be able to explain the specifics. I learned the specific situations and uses for each version of the present tense. For example, the present simple describes routines and habits, facts, present stories and more. The present continuous is used to describe actions that are happening at the point of talking, background events that occur during a present story. This lesson overviewed the affirmative, negative and question form of each version of the present tense.
